Prof. Dr. Sher Muhammad Khan

Dr. Sher Mohammad Khan is associated with RMI as Professor and Consultant Head of Oncology Department. He has a distinguished career spanning decades, dedicated to advancing cancer care in Pakistan.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Khan moved to the United Kingdom to pursue higher studies in oncology and nuclear medicine. He completed his MSc, MRCP, FRCP, and FRCR, and gained invaluable experience in some of the world's leading cancer centers.

Dr. Khan returned to Pakistan with a vision to improve cancer care in his homeland. He played a pivotal role in establishing nuclear medicine facilities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the first time and proposed and planned further nuclear medicine facilities in Abbotabad, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Bannu.
