Coronary Care Unit - CCU - RMI

CORONARY CARE UNIT

The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at RMI is a fully equipped, 16-bed facility that is supported by a team of experienced nurses, case managers, clinical pharmacists, house staff, cardiology fellows and attending physicians who oversee the care and management of all the patients.


The CCU staff cares for patients who suffers from myocardial infarction (heart attack), angina, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and cardiomyopathy.


All the necessary equipment for the treatment of any kind of cardiac emergency like defibrillators, ventilators and temporary pacemakers are available at the CCU.
