Our hospital has new technology which allows us to transfer X-Ray images to a secure computer network via PACS system, helping us see more patients each day and ensuring that the images are always available for viewing.
Radiography is carried out by trained radiographers. It’s a painless test and body is exposed to X-Rays for a fraction of a second. But patient has to stay still during an X-Ray, as otherwise the image can become blurred. When indicated clinically, radiographer may need to take multiple images, from different angles.
