The department runs general medicine clinics and is involved in the care of admitted patients under the supervision of consultant physicians. These involve patients with the full range of general medical issues, including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, infectious diseases, neurological problems, respiratory problems and other chronic conditions, as well as those needing preoperative medical screening. External organizations also use these clinics for pre-employment as well as annual medical surveillance of their employees.
Our department is recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) for undergraduate training and by College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for post graduate training.
