Domiciliary services

The Home Health Service (Domiciliary Physical Therapy) at RMI, introduced in December 2016, aims to provide quality Rehabilitation services to patients at their door step. The service has been effectively working to provide assessment and treatment to housebound patients and patients with complex needs affecting access to clinics. Since then many patients have been managed as home base training with patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, and participation in their treatment. Patients are repeatedly referred from wards and as an outpatient referrals by consultants. The common conditions we treat are stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, post TKR and THR, arthritis, back pain, brain injury and sports injuries.
