RMI Trains Instructors for AHA-Certified BLS Courses!
Rehman Medical Institute is making big strides towards becoming an American Heart Association (AHA)-certified Basic Life Support (BLS) training center through our very own RMI Center for Advanced Learning. This basically means we're getting ourselves equipped to train YOU in the critical skills needed to respond to emergencies.
BLS training is vital for healthcare professionals because those critical first minutes after a cardiac arrest or choking incident can mean the difference between life and death. With these skills, you will be prepared to act swiftly and effectively in those crucial moments. BLS is also one of the approaches to save the life of a person who is in critical condition and needs Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
On May 25th, our instructor trainees ran their first two BLS courses! These courses were overseen by Dr. Rehan Masroor, a Training Center Faculty (TCF) from the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC). Dr. Masroor offered invaluable feedback and guidance to our future instructors, making sure they're ready to teach you the lifesaving techniques you need to know.
This is a huge milestone for us! It brings us closer to our goal of providing top-notch BLS training to healthcare professionals right here in our community. We're dedicated to meeting the AHA's strict standards, and we can't wait to officially offer certified BLS courses at our center very soon.
Stay tuned for more updates – we'll let you know as soon as we have a launch date. In the meantime, spread the word! The more healthcare heroes equipped with BLS, the safer our community will be.
