Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) hosted a comprehensive Neonatal Mechanical Ventilation Workshop, empowering 60 healthcare professionals with critical skills in this vital area.

The workshop, led by Dean of RMI, Prof. Dr. Shahzada Bakhtyar Zahid, featured a team of expert instructors:

  • Prof. Dr. Sajjad, from HMG Hospital Riyadh, shared his expertise in basic physiology and conventional ventilation techniques.
  • Prof. Bilal Ahmed Sethi, from NWGH Peshawar, delved into the intricacies of electronic monitoring, CPAP, monophasic/biphasic modes, BCPAP, and blood gas interpretations.

Through interactive sessions and hands-on practice, participants, including faculty and residents, gained valuable insights into the latest advancements and best practices in neonatal mechanical ventilation.

The workshop culminated in a certificate distribution ceremony graced by the presence of RMI CEO, Shafique Ur Rehman, alongside Prof. Dr. Anwar Zeb Jan, Prof. Dr. Nadeem Khawar, and Prof. Dr. Shahzada Bakhtyar Zahid.
