RMI Education's 2nd Convocation: A Pinnacle in Healthcare Education 

RMI Education, a distinguished healthcare education provider in Pakistan, hosted its second convocation on December 13, graduating 384 students in esteemed fields such as Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry (BDS), and Allied Health Sciences.

The event marked a milestone, commemorating the accomplishments of these graduates and symbolizing their entry into the healthcare profession. Notably, Dr. Lubna Kamal from Rahman Medical College (RMC) received acclaim as the "Best Graduate of the Year." Dr. Kamal's exceptional academic performance, attested by an unprecedented 19 gold medals, secured her the top position across all MBBS subjects, serving as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring medical professionals.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Haji Ghulam Ali, graced the convocation as the special guest, commending RMI's contributions to healthcare education. He particularly acknowledged the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rahman, Chairman of RMI, for driving the institution's success.

Distinguished dignitaries, including provincial Health Advisor Dr. Riaz Anwar, Education Minister Dr. Qasim Jan, and prominent figures from healthcare and education, attended the ceremony. Graduates, accompanied by their families and friends, reveled in the joy of this momentous occasion, marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.

The convocation underscored RMI Education's commitment to academic excellence and the cultivation of future healthcare leaders. As graduates commence their professional journeys, RMI pledges ongoing support in their mission to serve humanity. Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq Zia, Vice-Chanceller of Khyber Medical University (KMU) expressed appreciation for the contributions of Dr. Muhammad Rehman, commending the prestigious healthcare and education institution he founded. Haq highlighted the exceptional quality of graduates produced by RMI Education, with RMC and RCD consistently being the first choice for aspiring medical students.

Haji Ghulam Ali praised Dr. Rehman's practical initiatives for the nation in establishing such healthcare institutions, recognizing RMC and RCD's significant reputation nationwide. Dr. Rehman emphasized the values of compassion, tolerance, and a cool-headed approach in serving the community.

CEO of RMI, Shafique Ur Rehman, provided insights into the institution's journey, commencing in 1991 and officially launching in 2002. The introduction of postgraduate programs in 2006 and the subsequent establishment of various entities, such as Rehman College of Nursing in 2008, RMC in 2010, RCRS in 2012, and RCAHS and RCD in 2016, showcased RMI's commitment to holistic education and healthcare innovation. 

Additionally, Mr. Rehman highlighted the institution's achievements in extra-curricular activities, alumni engagement, research and innovation, corporate social responsibility, and community outreach.
