RMI Annual Media Cricket League Inaugurated

The RMI Annual Media Cricket League officially took off on 2 November, inaugurated by the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry. The league is part of RMI's corporate social responsibility and aims to provide journalists with a break from their hectic job and an opportunity to participate in healthy activities. The Director Administrations RMI, Col (R) Muhammad Tariq Khan, and Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry were the chief guests at the inauguration ceremony. Caretaker Minister for Information, Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel, also attended the ceremony and served as the umpire in a friendly match between Chief Secretary-11 and Peshawar Press Club-11, which was won by Chief Secretary-11 by 47 runs. Eight administrative secretaries of the province, led by Chief Secretary, participated in the inaugural match. The Chief Secretary, while talking to the media, appreciated RMI's efforts for organizing this league on an annual basis for the journalist community.
