Rahman Medical Institute Celebrates International Radiology Day

Rahman Medical Institute (RMI) marked International Radiology Day with a special ceremony. The event, held on November 8, 2023, brought together notable figures in the field of radiology, including CEO RMI Shafique ur Rehman, Professor Syed Ghaus, Head of the Radiology Department, Colonel R. Mohammad Tariq Khan, Chief Operating Officer, Professor Dr. Abdul Wahid, Dr. Mohammad bin Afsar Jan, Professor Dr. Anwar Zaib, and senior faculty members.

Dr. Syed Ghaus, Head of the Radiology Department, emphasized the importance of celebrating International Radiology Day to raise awareness about the field's importance. He highlighted the remarkable advancements made in radiology and underscored the need for accurate radiology tests, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, conducted through reputable sources. Dr. Ghaus also advised against unnecessary radiology tests, citing the potential harm caused by radiation.

To further emphasize the importance of responsible radiology practices, RMI organized an awareness walk during the event. The walk was attended by officials of RMI's Radiology Department and students. They underscored RMI's commitment to excellence in medical education and patient care.
