Governor’s Initiative on Heart Disease Prevention Successfully Held at Governor’s House, KP

Today, at the Governor’s House, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the event on 'Prevention of Heart Disease: A Governor’s Initiative' was successfully held. The session focused on raising awareness about cardiac health and was led by Prof. Dr. Miqdad Ali Khan, HOD & Consultant Cardiologist, RMI.

Several experts from RMI contributed valuable insights, including Dr. Nabil Iftikhar, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon; Nida Muhammad, Dietitian; Dr. Aiman Wahan, Physical Therapist; and Dr. Mohsin Shabir, Senior Registrar Cardiology. Each speaker addressed crucial topics related to their specialties, highlighting the importance of a holistic approach to heart disease prevention.

The event served as a significant step in promoting cardiovascular health and encouraging proactive measures for a heart-healthy lifestyle.
