Syed, a seventy-five-year-old from Kabul, underwent treatment in Afghanistan but his condition deteriorated.

Medical professionals in Afghanistan determined that his heart and kidneys had ceased functioning.

Syed's family took the initiative to bring him to the Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) for further treatment. His son, Shah Agha reported that after a short stay at RMI and the treatment by Consultant Nephrologist, Dr. Nisar Anwar, Syed's condition improved, allowing him to return home to Afghanistan.
