Typhoid Fever - symptoms & treatment

Dr. Shahid

Typhoid is an infectious disease, which can be life-threatening if not treated in time!

The initial symptoms of typhoid include a high fever, headache, and a general feeling of weakness, all of which resemble flu symptoms and can make diagnosis challenging.  As the infection progresses, other symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and vomiting may occur. If left untreated, these symptoms may persist for several weeks and may become fatal for a vulnerable or immunocompromised.
