Dr. Qaiser Iqbal
Dr. Qaisar Iqbal is serving RMI as Assistant Professor Urology and Kidney Transplant. He obtained his medical degree from Khyber Medical College Peshawar and completed his house job at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar.
Furthering his medical training, he undertook a mandatory two-year surgery training at Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) followed by an additional three-year specialised training in Urology at the Institute of Kidney Disease in Peshawar.
Dr. Iqbal pursued and successfully completed a fellowship in Urology from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 2016. He then worked as a Specialist Registrar at the Institute of Kidney Diseases from 2016 to 2020. During this period, he also achieved the distinction of completing MRCS (Membership of The Royal Colleges of Surgeons) from both Edinburgh and Glasgow colleges.
In 2020, Dr. Iqbal took on the role of an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Kohat Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) where he continued to contribute to the field. His dedication to learning and specialisation led him to complete a fellowship in Kidney Transplant Surgery in December 2022, further enhancing his expertise.
