Prof. Dr. Anwar Zeb Jan

Dr. Anwar Zeb Jan is Consultant Paediatrician at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI). After his graduation from prestigious Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Dr. Jan completed MRCP in Paediatrics from Royal College of Physician, Ireland and diploma in child health from The Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow.  

Dr. Jan has over four decades of experience rising through the ranks following the UK and Ireland system of promotion - house officer to registrar to senior registrar to consultant. His last post in the UK was Consultant Paediatrician in Minor Hospital Walsall before joining Taif Children Hospital in Saudi Arabia as consultant neonatologist / paediatrician. 

Upon return to Pakistan, he served Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), Peshawar, as consultant paediatrician but after two years, he returned to Saudi Arabia and served at Royal Commission Hospital, Jubail, for four years. In August 2014, Dr. Jan joined RMI as Neonatologist/Paediatrician where he helped establish PICU and NICU at par with international health standards. 

He as hosted and organised many national and international seminars.

Apart from paediatrics, Mr. Jan was the chairperson of Continuous Medical Education (CME) and infectious control team in Taif Children Hospital and head of quality assurance program at Royal Commission Hospital, Jubail, Saudi Arabia. He has been actively involved in social work and loves football, reading and travelling.
