Primary Ovarian Failure refers to in which female ovaries stop working normally before the age of 40. It is also known as Premature Ovarian Failure 
 

Causes 
  • Genetic disorders like Fragile X syndrome and Turner syndrome 
  • Low numbers of follicles 
  •  Autoimmune diseases such as thyroiditis and Addison diseases 
  • Chemotherapy 
  • Radiation therapy

Symptoms
