Primary Hyperlipidaemia

Primary hyperlipidaemia is a disease which is a genetic factor. It is inherited.    
 

Causes  
  • Familial combined hyperlipidemia  
  • Familial hyperapobetalipoproteinemia  
  • Familial hypertriglyceridemia  

 

Symptoms
  •  Pain in chest  
  • Insomnia  
  • Heart palpitations  
  • Vomiting  
  • Nausea  
  • Shortness of breath  
  • Pain or pressure in chest  
  • Fatigue 

 

Treatment
  • Medications like Statins or other medications for examples ezetimibe, niacin, fibrates, bile acid sequestrants etc. 
  • Quit smoking  
  • Physical inactivity 
  • Healthy eating especially avoids Cholesterol diet.
  • Proper sleep for 7 to 8 hours 
  • Intake of Omega 3 
  • Healthy Body weight according to Body Mass Index (BMI)
