Brain Tumors

A brain tumor is a collection, or mass, of abnormal cells in your brain. Your skull, which encloses your brain, is very rigid. Any growth inside such a restricted space can cause problems. Brain tumors can be cancerous (malignant) or noncancerous (benign).

 

Symptoms:

•    Headaches, which may be more intense in the morning
•    Weakness in the body such as in an arm, leg, or the face
•    Difficulty balancing
•    Problems with memory
•    Seizures

 

Treatment:

Surgery is the usual treatment for most brain tumors, Radiation therapy, Radiation therapy, Chemotherapy.
