They help your back stay flexible, so you can bend and twist. As you get older, they can show signs of wear and tear.
Symptoms:
• Moderate continuous low back pain
• Painful aches at the site of a damaged disc is the most common symptom of a degenerative disc
• Pain may spread to the buttocks, groin, and upper thighs
Treatment:
Pain medications, typical pain medications used to treat the low back pain include acetaminophen, NSAIDs, oral steroids, narcotic drugs, and muscle relaxants.
