Adrenal Carcinoma

Adrenal Carcinomas (ACs) is an uncommon disease which is caused by a cancerous growth in the outer layer of the adrenal gland known as adrenal cortex.

 

Symptoms:

•  High blood pressure
•  High blood sugar level
•  Frequent urination
•  Cramps in muscles
•  Nausea and Vomiting
•  Weight loss
•  Purple stretch marks on skin
•  Back pain
•  Abdominal ache
•  Loss of appetite
•  Hormonal changes in females

 

Causes:

Changes in the DNA of an adrenal gland cell.

 

Treatment:

•  Surgery
•  Radiation therapy 
•  Chemotherapy
