The department of Plastic Surgery at RMI commenced its services in 2012. The unit consists of a competent team with latest equipment and a dedicated ward. Services are provided to both inpatients and outpatients. The services provided at the Plastic Surgery department range from correction of birth defects like cleft lip and palate, genital deformities and hand abnormalities in children to reconstruction of complex wounds in adults.

Ears reconstruction & aesthetics
Congenital or by birth problems with functionality and appearance of ears are treated and reconstructed by RMI’s skilled surgeons.
Skin Grafts & Flap Surgery
From small skin deformities like pressure sores to bigger and more serious ones like high degree burns are treated successfully by highly qualified surgeons at RMI. They use advanced techniques like skin grafts and flap surgeries where small patches of healthy skin from other part of body are skillfully placed on damaged areas and the skin starts to repair itself.
