Breast Care Unit
As women age, it becomes increasingly important to get regular breast examinations to avoid the risk of breast cancer and other related issues. Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) is the first private hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to have a comprehensive breast cancer unit, staffed by internationally trained oncologists, pathologists, surgeons, and radiologists.
Our goal is to provide expert, patient-focused care, from consultation and checkups to surgeries, all under one roof. Our surgeons and specialist nurses work closely with other health professionals across the hospital to provide care at every stage of diagnosis and treatment, using state-of-the-art facilities.
We believe that early diagnosis is key to successful breast cancer treatment. That's why we encourage all women to start regular breast screening from the age of 40. Breast screening involves a mammogram, which is an X-ray of the breast that can detect cancer early, before it shows any symptoms. Women with a family history of breast cancer may need to start screening earlier than 40.
Our team of experts work to develop a personalised treatment plan that meets individual needs. We offer a wide range of treatment options, including surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. We also provide support services to help you cope with the physical and emotional challenges of breast cancer treatment.
At RMI, we are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality breast cancer care possible. We are proud to be the leading provider of breast cancer care in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and we are dedicated to helping our patients fight this disease and live long, healthy lives.
The Department of Breast Care Unit is focused on patients’ health and satisfaction with the treatment and post-operative care. The department is facilitated with latest equipment and technology to ease the diagnostic and surgical procedures for patients.
