RMI World Children Day: Championing Child Health

RMI World Children Day

On November 20th, World Children Day, Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) was proud to join UNICEF in a significant event dedicated to promoting children’s health, rights, and well-being.

Our team of pediatric experts, including Professor Dr. Shahzada Bakhtyar Zahid, Head of Department and Consultant Pediatrician; Dr. Muhammad Kashif Arsalan, Consultant Pediatric Surgeon; Dr. Nayyar Ahmad, Consultant Pediatrician; Dr. Saba Idrees, Consultant Pediatrician; Professor Dr. Qamar Ali Khan, Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist; and Dr. Azam Jan, Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, were present to contribute to this important cause. The event brought together leading healthcare professionals, policymakers, and advocates to discuss critical issues affecting children worldwide.

Our dedicated consultants actively participated in panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions, sharing their expertise and insights on child malnutrition, early childhood development, pediatric surgical care, child and adolescent mental health, and the prevention and management of childhood diseases. By participating in this event, RMI reaffirmed its commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to children.

We believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves access to quality healthcare and a chance to thrive. We will continue to work tirelessly to promote child health and well-being, both locally and globally.
