Short Stay Unit

Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) has introduced an upgraded Short Stay Unit to provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care for a variety of short-stay and minimally invasive procedures. The unit is designed to optimize patient flow and reduce unnecessary inpatient admissions.

Comprehensive Short-Stay and Daycare Services

The Short Stay Unit offers a wide range of clinical services that do not require overnight admission. These services are structured to ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining high clinical standards.

Minor OT and Daycare Surgeries

Pur unit caters to minor OT cases involving surgical or diagnostic interventions.

Daycare surgeries are performed under appropriate anesthetic support, allowing patients to return home the same day.

Endocrinology Care

Endocrinology patients requiring short-term monitoring, infusions, or brief observation are managed efficiently within the unit.

This ensures close supervision without the need for prolonged hospitalization.

Endoscopy Services

Patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic endoscopy procedures receive specialized care in a controlled environment. The unit provides comprehensive monitoring before and after procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.

Blood Transfusions and Minor Procedures

Our unit also accommodates patients requiring blood transfusions or other minor procedures that need clinical observation for a few hours.

This approach enhances patient safety and improves hospital resource utilization.

Optimizing Patient Flow and Hospital Resources

The upgraded Short Stay Unit helps reduce unnecessary inpatient admissions and streamlines hospital operations. By providing targeted short-stay care, the unit improves overall efficiency, maximizes resource use, and ensures timely treatment for patients.
