Audiology Center

Leading the Way in Hearing Care

From the first hearing screening of a newborn to advanced diagnostic mapping for complex ear conditions, the Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) Audiology Center is dedicated to restoring the joy of sound. We combine state-of-the-art acoustic technology with compassionate care to help you and your loved ones stay connected.

Precision Diagnostics for All Ages

The Audiology Center at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) is a specialized diagnostic hub that bridges the gap between the ENT department and life-changing hearing solutions. Hearing is a complex sense. We use specialized, sound-proof environments and global-standard equipment to get the most accurate results.

Newborn Hearing Screening (OAE): We believe in early intervention. Our center provides non-invasive screenings for infants to detect hearing issues within the first days of life.

Objective Diagnostic Testing (ABR/BERA): For children or patients who cannot provide verbal feedback, we use advanced brain-response testing to measure hearing levels with 100% accuracy.

Sound-Isolated Environments: Our testing is conducted in professionally calibrated, sound-proof booths to ensure zero environmental interference with your results.

Comprehensive Hearing Solutions: We don’t just provide a report; we partner with our ENT and Speech Therapy teams to provide a roadmap for recovery, including hearing aid fitting and cochlear implant support.

When to Seek Hearing Assessment

Don’t wait for hearing loss to become a barrier. Consult our specialists if you experience:

In Infants: A lack of response to loud sounds or delayed speech development.

In Adults: Difficulty following conversations in noisy places or needing to turn up the TV volume constantly.

Tinnitus: Persistent ringing, buzzing, or whistling in the ears.

Balance Issues: Since the ear controls balance, we provide specialized testing for vertigo and dizziness.

Hearing is more than a sense; it is the foundation of communication and human connection. At RMI, we understand the profound impact that hearing challenges can have on your life. Our mission is to provide the scientific precision required for a correct diagnosis and the emotional support needed to help you hear the world clearly again.
