RMI conducted two community outreach camps at Bagh-e-Naran Park and Khalid Bin Waleed Park, providing screening, assessment and rehabilitation guidance to community members.
Across both camps, more than 200 patients were screened and treated. The two day initiative focused on cardiovascular disease and stroke awareness, early identification, prevention and rehabilitation.
The camps provided cardiovascular and stroke screening, physical therapy and functional assessments, patient education, exercise and rehabilitation guidance, and referrals where required. Around 20 physical therapists and healthcare professionals participated in the camps.
Day 2 of the camp at Khalid Bin Waleed Park was attended by Cantonment Executive Officer Ch. Babar Hussain, Peshawar Cantt, Mr. Meher Gul Wazir, Senior Horticulturist, Cantt Board Peshawar, Dr. Ghazanfar Ullah, Incharge Physical Therapy Department, and Dr. Madeeha Anees, Principal RCRs.
The initiative reflects RMI’s commitment to taking quality healthcare, rehabilitation services and health awareness closer to the community, while promoting prevention, early screening and better health outcomes.
