4th Annual Sports Gala

RMI Education has formally commenced its 4th Annual Sports Gala at Hayatabad Sports Complex, bringing together students from five constituent colleges for a week-long program dedicated to sport, teamwork, and healthy competition.

The gala features competitions in cricket, basketball, futsal, football, badminton, and table tennis, providing students with a structured platform to demonstrate athletic skill, discipline, and teamwork in a competitive yet collegial environment.

The opening ceremony began with a torch relay followed by a ceremonial march past by student athletes and faculty members, reflecting institutional pride and collective enthusiasm. The event was attended by international sportspersons, national cricketer Muhammad Waseem Senior, distinguished guests, and a large gathering of students.

CEO RMI Shafique ur Rehman, Chief Operating Officer Col. (Retd.) Tariq Khan, and principals of all five colleges were also present on the occasion. The Guest of Honor was Jansher Khan, the legendary squash champion, whose presence added prestige to the occasion and served as an inspiration for young athletes in attendance.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director General Sports Tashfeen Haider, the chief guest on the occasion, commended Rehman Medical Institute for its continued commitment to promoting sports and encouraging student participation in co-curricular activities alongside academic development.

The week-long event is expected to foster sporting excellence while reinforcing values of teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship across participating institutions.
