RMI Deanery
The Deanery at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) oversees house job and postgraduate training programs, focusing on structured learning, clinical exposure, and professional development. The house job program provides fresh medical and dental graduates with supervised rotations, hands-on clinical skills, professionalism, ethics, and structured training through workshops,assessments, and simulation courses.
The postgraduate training program follows PMDC and CPSP standards, preparing competent specialists through competency-based training, research development, simulation, PBL, CBL,reflective discussions, and regular assessments.

Governance
Dean RMI of the Postgraduate training and Education is the overall head of the Institution and oversees the various training programmes. Associate Dean is the academic in charge of Postgraduate Medical training. Deanery RMI formulates the policy for induction, smooth conduction of training aligned with the vision and outcomes of both Institute as well as the Degree awarding entity aligned PMDC standards.
Deanery RMI ensures trainee wellbeing and supports them to achieve their goals. The training oversight committee is chaired by the Dean that has relevant representation of trainers, trainees and hospital administration. Deanery RMI facilitates accreditation of new specialties and supervisors by closely working with the HoDs and Consultants. All the departmental HoDs, supervisors and trainees work as a team. CEO meets the Deanery every three months and is presented with a report on all trainee related matters and future plans.

The RMI Postgraduate Medical Education Program includes a Minimum Mandatory Teaching Program featuring a range of structured academic activities. These include teaching rounds, grand rounds, interactive lectures by faculty, departmental case presentations (both brief and detailed), journal clubs, and case discussions.
The program also incorporates departmental audits, mortality meetings, intradepartmental meetings, Mini-CEX, and DOPS across various departments to enhance clinical skills and overall training experience.
Additionally, high-fidelity simulators are integrated for innovative teaching and advanced skills development, including Q-CPR (BLS) training on simulators to effectively prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Oversight Committee Visits
As part of the quality assurance process, the Oversight Committee conducts quarterly visits to all training units. These visits are designed to:
