World Cancer Day 2022

RMI's Oncology Department organised a seminar to raise awareness, educate our community, and promote a Cancer-free society. Consultant Oncologists, Prof. Dr. Sher Mohammad Khan and Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahid presented the advancements in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and therapeutic procedures available for different types of Cancers. Consultant General Surgery, Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad further emphasized this year's World Cancer Day theme, "Close the Care Gap", discussing the importance of access to quality of care and treatment options for cancer patients.
