RMI Holds Workshop on Nutritional Supplements for NG Feed
The Nutrition and Dietetics Department of RMI, in collaboration with IBL Nestle Health Sciences and the Critical Care Unit of the General ICU, held a one-day workshop on nutritional supplements for NG feed on 17 August.
The workshop covered a variety of topics, including:
• Enteral nutrition decision tree
• Tube placement
• Tube feeding in ICU
• Tube feeding troubleshooting
• Selection of formula
The workshop was led by a team of experienced healthcare professionals who shared their expertise on the latest evidence-based practices for nutritional support. The workshop was attended by critical care nurses, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of patients who require NG [Nasogastric Intubation] feeding.
The workshop was a great opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of nutritional supplements and how to administer them safely and effectively to patients. The workshop also provided participants with the tools they need to provide high-quality nutritional care to their patients.
RMI is committed to providing the highest quality of care to its patients. This workshop is just one example of the many ways that RMI is working to achieve this goal.
