ICHR-25 Begins: Turning Research Discoveries into Healthcare Solutions
The third International Conference on Health Research (ICHR-25), featuring leading international medical researchers, clinicians, public health experts, and scholars from Pakistan and abroad, has officially begun.
The conference was inaugurated by Chairman of RMI Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rehman, CEO RMI Shafique ur Rehman; Principal of Rehman College of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Ghulam Rasool; Chairman of ICHR-25 Dr. Naseer Ahmed; and senior faculty from all RMI institutions.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rehman urged the medical research community to focus on patient-centered, evidence-based solutions. “We need research that addresses diseases affecting our people—cancer, renal failure, infectious outbreaks, and environmental health crises. Our work must be timely, translational, and transformative,” he said.
Prof. Dr. Ghulam Rasool described ICHR-25 as a platform for academic growth and interdisciplinary exchange. “This isn’t just about presenting data; it’s about rethinking medical education and improving how we diagnose, treat, and care,” he stated.
CEO Shafique ur Rehman emphasized RMI’s broader mission. “We’re not just producing doctors; we’re shaping healthcare leaders and advocates. Our initiatives, like the Health Card and RMI Relief, aim to serve underserved communities,” he said.
The Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University praised ICHR-25 for its focus on real-time health challenges and announced a special honor for Prof. Dr. Rehman at Islamia College’s upcoming convocation, recognizing his contributions to medical education.
Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal, Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, commended RMI for fostering professional development through skill-based workshops. “These activities are the backbone of lifelong learning and clinical excellence,” he said.
With interactive sessions, workshops, and bold ideas, ICHR-25 is more than just an event—it’s a collaborative platform for healthcare innovation.
