Healthcare Quality and Hospital Management Workshop
RMI is an evolving entity, striving to achieve highest levels of patient satisfaction by establishing a culture for patient safety. Being a leading institute of the region, RMI believes in strengthening the healthcare workers’ capacity building to achieve optimum results.
A three-level training on Healthcare Quality and Hospital Management kicked off at RMI for all healthcare professionals seeking an in-depth view of quality management. The training, which is first of its kind in the region, aims to enable the participants for in-depth understanding of hospital management system and to prepare for the “Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)” qualification.
The module of the training covers Quality Management, Quality Improvement, Case Management, Patient Safety at All Levels, Utilization and Risk Management. The practical outcomes of the training include professional and leadership development and healthcare quality management. The program is being led by Mr. Muhammad Umar Farooq, Head of Quality and Patient Safety & JCI Accreditation Lead at RMI.
There were 93 registered applicants from across the Pakistan where 23 were selected due to COVID-19 precautions. The course will be repeated periodically over the year. Preference will be given to RMI family with discounted rates.
