Free Down Syndrome Screening Camp at RMI

Down Syndrome

Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), in collaboration with KDSP, recently organized a free medical and therapy screening camp for children with Down syndrome. The event provided comprehensive healthcare, therapy assessments, and practical guidance for families.

Families Receive Comprehensive Care and Support

A total of 30 families attended the camp at CDC RMI, benefiting from free medical screenings, speech therapy evaluations, and personalized home plans.

Families also met RMI’s expert pediatric team and visited the Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Department and Child Development Center for guided assessments and tailored care.

Parent Awareness and Education Sessions

The event included parent awareness sessions, offering insights on child development, therapy practices, and strategies to support children at home.

Caregivers received practical guidance to enhance their child’s growth and development.

Collaborative Meetings for Future Partnerships

RMI administration and KDSP leadership held strategic discussions to explore future collaborations. The goal is to strengthen long-term care, learning opportunities, and support for children with Down syndrome and their families.

Commitment to Inclusive Healthcare and Down Syndrome

Through initiatives like this camp, RMI demonstrates its dedication to accessible, high-quality pediatric care and community support.

By combining expert medical care with therapy and parent guidance, RMI ensures children with Down syndrome receive holistic support for their growth and development.
