Dr. Taqi Toufeeq Khan is a US fellowship-trained transplant surgeon who established the Kidney Transplant Programme at RMI, Peshawar, in 2019. He has over 20 years of experience in kidney transplantation, having practised in the United States, United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia, performing more than 1,000 transplants.

He has authored over 100 international publications and a book chapter. His expertise includes transplantation using right kidneys, managing diabetic patients, handling multiple donor arteries, and performing re-transplantations. He is a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
