Prof. Dr. Bakhtyar Zahid is the Dean of Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) and a founding Consultant Paediatrician. He brings over 30 years of clinical, academic, administrative, and research experience from Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
He has played a key role in advancing paediatric and neonatal care, strengthening postgraduate medical training, and promoting research governance. In recognition of his excellence and leadership, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH), London, a prestigious honour given to distinguished paediatricians for their significant contributions to the field.

– Selection shall be based on:
– Merit as per MBBS marks
– Minimum six months job experience after House Job
– Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience
– Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI)
– Preference will be given to RMC graduates
