Yesterday, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at RMI organized a one-day workshop on Cervical Cancer Awareness, highlighting the critical role of early detection in saving lives. The event brought together leading experts to share their knowledge on preventive screening, risk factors, and timely interventions.
The session featured insights from Dr. Saima Gillani | Consultant Gynae & Obstetrics, RMI, Prof. Dr. Zubaida Akhtar | Prof KTH; Prof. Dr. Perveen Azeem | Prof & HOD Gandhara Institute, and Dr. Nadira Nasir | General Practitioner.
Their expertise provided participants with valuable guidance on recognizing symptoms and taking proactive steps toward women’s health.
