Nutrition & Food Services
RMI's Nutrition and food services supports Patient centered approach to care and position the inpatient dinning. A well-managed food to patients serves as a part of the patient’s treatment. An unbalanced meal eaten means nil food eaten. At RMIour nutritionists work in close liaison with the doctors and consultants to provide the food to patients as per their dietary needs.
Carefully selected food items from the prominent vendors are prepared under strict hygienic conditions. SOPs are laid down for the proper Cleanliness of cooking pans and serving containers. Proper covered food from kitchen to patient is delivered in trollies for safe and healthy serving.
RMI has an elegant cafeteria for staff and patients at the basement, where food at subsidized rates is served in lunch and dinner timing.
For inpatients, hospital has room service arrangement which emulates fine hotels food services. The cafeteria remain open from 7 am to 10 pm. Orders for the food can be served directly to cafeteria. Patient can order breakfast for next day before the closure of cafeteria in the evening. Special orders for meals can be placed which may require a little longer time then the normal serving.
RMI has another cafeteria on the eastern end of hospital, operational from 6AM to 1030PM daily. The cafeteria serves a verity of food to hospital staff, visitors and patient attendants with in the cafeteria premises.
Beside this a 24 hours operational tuck shop is located at third floor where one can have tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks to satisfy the appetite.
